1.1) Push release button and unlatch door panel. | |
 |
2.1) Push panel toward rear seat. | |
 |
3.1) You know the drill for lowering the roof, close trunk and lower roof to this position for access. | |
 |
4.1) Passenger side of rear opening, remove one 10 mm bolt securing panel and screen assembly. | |
 |
5.1) Driver side of rear opening, remove one 10 mm bolt securing panel and screen assembly. | |
 |
6.1) Pry driver side base assembly from vehicle. | |
 |
7.1) Pry passenger side base assembly from vehicle. | |
 |
8.1) Remove assembly from trunk area. | |
 |
9.1) Pull passenger side mounting plate from assembly. | |
 |
10.1) Pry plastic insert from end of assembly. | |
 |
11.1) Note plastic assembly has a key that mates to opening. | |
 |
12.1) Remove plastic assembly and rotate to tighten spring tension. | |
 |
13.1) Push plastic assembly back into shaft mating key to slot. | |
 |
14.1) Test before reinstallation. | |
