GMC Jimmy / Sonoma How to Remove and Install Speakers
	GMC Jimmy / Sonoma How to Remove Rear Door Panel and Speaker
	1.1) Along front edge of window panel going up side of window, remove one lower screw.
	2.1) Along front edge of window at panel going up side of window, remove one upper screw. Remove panel and set to side.
	3.1) Along rear edge of window at panel going up side of window, gently pry lower edge from door releasing clips. All clips release with pressure.
	4.1) Along rear edge of window at panel going up side of window, gently pry upper edge from door releasing clips.
	5.1) Remove panel and set to side.
	6.1) At door open handle cavity, remove one screw.
	7.1) Gently pry/pull front edge of panel from door panel.
	8.1) Gently pry/pull rear edge of panel from door panel to release.
	9.1) Turn panel to release over door open handle and set to side.
	10.1) At hand hold cavity on arm rest, gently pry small cover from cavity.
	11.1) Remove small cover and set to side.
	12.1) Remove two exposed screws.
	13.1) With small flat head screw driver, at window switch, gently push in under edge of switch to release clip while prying up.
	14.1) Pull window switch up out of opening, release trigger on connector to disconnect. Set switch to side.
	15.1) Starting at bottom rear edge of door panel, gently pry door panel from door releasing clips.
	16.1) Work your way across bottom of panel releasing clips.
	17.1) Work your way up front edge of door panel releasing clips.
	18.1) Work your way up rear edge of door panel releasing clips.
	19.1) While holding bottom of door panel away from door, lift rear edge of door panel up out of window jam.
	20.1) Pull edge of door panel at door open handle away from door handle to clear over handle.
	21.1) Lift front edge of door panel up out of window jam.
	22.1) Pull door panel back from door, be sure to feed window switch connector through door panel to release door panel. *Note - be sure to feed connector back into door panel when reinstalling panel.
	23.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips.
	24.1) Pry door panel clips from door to remove.
	25.1) Slide door panel clips into slot on door panel ready for reinstallation.
	26.1) Remove screws securing speaker to riser ring mounted on door. Tech Help - for determining aftermarket speaker installation polarity see Speaker Phasing and Color Code Chart above.

Diagrams may not be applicable to Bose Audio Systems     IMPORTANT - There are two (2) yellow*, two (2) gray and two (2) brown wires in this harness. Locate the +12 volt constant wire first. Label it or splice to constant wire on aftermarket stereo first. Swapping yellow wires will cause damage to any aftermarket stereo.
