MBZ Speaker Removal 190 Series How to Remove and Replace Front Dash Speaker 190E
1.1) Remove hidden screw left front edge of speaker grill cover.
2.1) Remove hidden screw right front edge of speaker grill cover.
3.1) Gently pry edge of speaker grill from dash.
4.1) Lift edge of speaker grill up.
5.1) Grasp edge of speaker grill and pull toward center of dash releasing tabs.
6.1) Remove speaker grill and set to side.
7.1) Pry speaker from opening.
8.1) Lift speaker from opening.
9.1) Pull wire harness with connector up from speaker opening.

10.1) Locate speaker connector, disconnect and replace with factory speaker at this point. Or, continue for aftermarket speaker installation.

NOTE - Secure connector when disconnecting, do not loose wire harness or connector back into speaker opening.

11.1) Aftermarket 3 1/2 inch speaker installation. Cut wire harness close to speaker.

NOTE - Secure connector when disconnecting, do not loose wire harness or connector back into speaker opening.

12.1) Splice speaker terminals onto speaker wires.

  • Green wire - Positive +
  • Black wire - Negative -

13.1) Push replaced speaker into speaker opening and install speaker grill.
