How to Remove Mercedes Benz Car Stereo 1.1) Car stereo "Din" removal tools. Tools may be purchased at on-line stores or local auto part stores. 2.1) Note angle of "Din" removal tool end. 3.1) Slide tool into right opening on face of car stereo. Tool will lock into place. 4.1) Note angle of "Din" removal tool end. 5.1) Slide tool into left opening on face of car stereo. Tool will lock into place. 6.1) Grasp ends of "Din" removal tools and pull car stereo from dash. 7.1) Push tab in on side of car stereo to release "Din" tool and remove. 8.1) Push tab in on side of car stereo to release "Din" tool and remove. 9.1) Grasp antenna connector and pull to release. 10.1) Squeeze trigger on fiber optic connector to release. 11.1) Squeeze trigger on side of first connector to release and remove. 12.1) Squeeze trigger on side of connector to release and remove. In some cases, these two connectors are connected and it may require squeezing triggers on both connectors at same time to release connectors and remove. 13.1) Remove car stereo.
How to Remove Mercedes Benz Front Door Speakers How to Remove Mercedes Benz Front Door Speakers 1.1) Pry top edge of tweeter panel releasing clip. All clips release with pry pressure. 2.1) Pull top edge of tweeter panel up to release hook at bottom of panel. 3.1) Pull tweeter panel back away from door. 4.1) Lift small connector from holder on panel. 5.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect. 6.1) Remove tweeter panel. 7.1) Tweeter is a press fit, pry tabs around tweeter away from  tweeter to release and remove. 8.1) Pry edge of SRS panel from door panel releasing clips. 9.1) SRS panel may be removed or may remain secured to panel. SRS panel only needs to be loose from door panel. 10.1) Remove one exposed 27T Torx screw from opening. 11.1) At end of door panel, remove one screw at top of small silver panel. 12.1) Remove two lower screws on small silver panel. 13.1) Remove silver panel and set to side. 14.1) At door latch, remove one 25T Torx screw securing panel to door. 15.1) Remove door latch panel and set to side. 16.1) Pry edge of door pull handle panel releasing clip. 17.1) Pry up edge of door pull handle panel releasing all clips. 18.1) Remove door pull handle panel and set to side. 19.1) Remove one exposed 27T Torx screw. 20.1) Pry rear edge of door panel from door releasing clips. 21.1) Pry along bottom edge of door panel, up front and rear edges of door panel releasing all clips. 22.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel away from door verifying all clips are released. 23.1) Pull bottom center of door panel away from door. 24.1) Lift panel straight up, this will release hook at top of door panel and release door panel from door. 25.1) Pull top edge of door panel back from door for access to back of panel. 26.1) Locate door handle cable. 27.1) Grasp cable at base of door handle. 28.1) Pull cable back from base of door handle. 29.1) Lift door handle cable up out of slot to release. 30.1) Lift end of door handle cable up out of end lock. 31.1) Hook at end of cable will release from lock. 32.1) Locate connector at back of panel for adjusting seat. 33.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect and remove. 34.1) At bottom edge of door panel locate courtesy light. 35.1) Release connectors at courtesy light, remove door panel and set to side. 36.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips. 37.1) Pry clips from door panel to remove. 38.1) Place clips into corresponding slots on door panel ready for reinstallation. 39.1) Remove four mounting screws securing speaker at back of door and remove. 40.1) At front speaker, pull edge of foam surrounding edge of speaker for access to screws. 41.1) Remove mounting screws securing speaker and remove. 42.1) Opening on door for hook released in step 24. 43.1) Hook on door panel released in step 24 must align with opening in door when reinstalling. Push door panel down to lock. 44.1) Feed door lock pin through door panel when reinstalling.
