How to Repace Mazda Radio 1) From behind car stereo in dash, remove two 10mm bolts across back of stereo.
2) Push car stereo forward from dash.
3) Disconnect antenna and connectors.

Mazda 929 Front Right Speaker Removal and Installation
Speaker Replacement, Installation and Removal

1.1) Gently pry on edge of side plate to release clips and remove.

Speaker Replacement, Installation and Removal 2.1) Remove two exposed screws securing plate over speaker.
Speaker Replacement, Installation and Removal 3.1) Remove screws along top and bottom edge of speaker panel cover.
3.2) Remove cover panel.
Speaker Replacement, Installation and Removal 4.1) Remove four screws securing speaker.
   
Front Left Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation
Speaker Replacement, Installation and Removal 1.1) Pull weather stripping from door jam.
Speaker Replacement, Installation and Removal 2.1) Gently pry edge of side panel away from dash and pull toward back of car to release front latches.
Speaker Replacement, Installation and Removal 3.1) Remove two exposed screws from panel.
Speaker Replacement, Installation and Removal 4.1) Loosen bolt on hood latch behind front dash and release from mount and face of panel.
4.2) Remove under dash panel and replace speaker.

How to Remove and Install Rear Deck Speakers

Removing Speakers, Replacement and Installation 1.1) Release two clips at leading edge of bottom seat cushion and remove cushion.
Speaker Replacement, Install and Remove 2.1) Remove two bolts, one at each side of rear seat cushion.
Removing Speakers, Replacement and Installation 3.1) Remove two screws in seat belt holder pocket.
Speaker Replacement, Install and Remove 4.1) Lift rear seat cushion straight up to release from three hooks and remove cushion.
Removing Speakers, Replacement and Installation 5.1) Remove two plastic anchors from third brake light. Push center tab "in" releasing anchor and remove.
Speaker Replacement, Install and Remove 6.1) Remove cover from third brake light.
6.2) Remove screws securing third brake light assembly, disconnect connector and remove.
Removing Speakers, Replacement and Installation 7.1) Remove two screws securing third brake light mounting bracket and remove bracket.
Speaker Replacement, Install and Remove 8.1) With pry tool, remove all plastic clips from rear deck panel.
Removing Speakers, Replacement and Installation 9.1) Gently lift rear deck panel up from center and pull toward front of car to remove.
Speaker Replacement, Install and Remove 10.1) Remove screws securing rear sub woofer speaker to rear deck. (Foam surround on this speaker is deteriorated, many local speaker shops can repair.)

Mazda 929 '88-91 Rear Door Speaker Removal and Installation

1.1) Remove two screw covers on each side of door panel and remove exposed screws.

Replacing Speakers, Removal and Install *NOTE - we cheated on this one!
3.1) While laying on ground, with help to hold panel back. Remove screws securing speaker to door with stubby or 90 degree screw driver.
