"Din Tools"

1.1) Din Tools can be purchased at a local Auto Parts Store. They are Ford Car Stereo removal tools.

2.1) Align Din Tool ends to openings on left side of car stereo.
3.1) Push Din Tool in, tool will lock into place.
4.1) Align Din Tool ends to openings on right side of car stereo.
5.1) Push Din Tool in, tool will lock into place.
6.1) Grasp both ends of Din Tools.
7.1) Push Din Tools toward the outsides of the car stereo.
8.1) Pull car stereo from dash.
9.1) Grasp base of antenna cable.
10.1) Pull to remove.
11.1) Locate main connector on car stereo.
12.1) Turn car stereo over for access to trigger on connector.
13.1) Squeeze trigger into connector to release and remove.
14.1) Remove car stereo.
How to remove Din Tools
15.1) Din Tools lock into spring on side of car stereo.
16.1) Push spring down at tool on side of car stereo.
17.1) Remove Din Tool from car stereo.
How Din Tools Work
18.1) Dash locks between spring and front face plate to secure stereo..
19.1) Din Tools, when inserted lock into spring.
20.1) Grasp end of Din Tool.
21.1) Pushing end of Din Tools toward outside of car stereo pulls spring flush to side of car stereo allowing stereo to release and be removed from dash.
