Nissan Frontier Front Door Panel and Speaker Removal 1.1) Gently push up on back edge of rear panel on arm rest. 2.1) Pull panel back away from leading panel to release and remove. 3.1) Remove exposed screw. 4.1) Remove screw from hand hold pocket. 5.1) Push arm rest panel toward front of door, look closely at small hook in panel. 6.1) Release small hook and lift back of panel up. 7.1) Pull panel back releasing front clip. 8.1) Release triggers on connectors to disconnect and remove control panel. 9.1) For driver's side door, there are different connectors. Release triggers on connectors to disconnect and remove control panel. 10.1) Remove exposed screw. 11.1) Pry panel clip from small panel on door panel. 12.1) Gently pry trim ring from door open handle area. This may take a little work to release all clips. 13.1) Removed trim panel. 14.1) Gently pry bottom back edge of door panel from door. 15.1) Work your way across bottom of door panel then up both edges of panel releasing all clips. Clips release on their own with pressure from panel removal. 16.1) Lift back edge of door panel up out of window jam. 16.2) Lift front edge of door panel up out of window jam. 17.1) Feed control panel connectors and wires through opening on door panel before removing. 18.1) Check door for any remaining panel clips. 18.2) Pry panel clips from door to remove. 19.1) Install panel clips onto door panel. 20.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door. NOTE - wooden trim ring was installed prior to our removal. The reason for a trim ring depends on the depth of the aftermarket speaker installed.
