Nissan Murano How to Remove Front Dash Speaker Guide with XM Antenna Installation "Tech Tip" 1.1) Gently pry AC vent from speaker grill. 2.1) Hinge outside edge of AC vent up. 3.1) Hinging AC vent out will remove entire vent assembly. 4.1) Gently pry side of speaker grill up. 5.1) Release all clips and remove speaker grill. 6.1) Looking through front windshield, the blue pry tools on the floor in the next step are pointed out here. 6.2) Or, remove tweeter if replacing speaker. 7.1) Feed XM antenna leads through above mentioned opening in dash. 8.1) Use double sided tape to secure antenna into opening and run antenna wires to XM control unit.
Nissan Murano How to Remove Front Door Panel Speaker 1.1) ROLL WINDOW DOWN! 1.2) With small flat head screw driver, gently pry small round cover from hand hold on arm rest. 2.1) Remove cover and set to side. 3.1) Remove exposed screw from hand hold cavity. 4.1) With small flat head screw driver, gently pry cover at notch in door open handle cavity. 5.1) Remove cover and set to side. 6.1) Remove exposed screw from door open handle cavity. 7.1) Gently pry control panel from arm rest releasing clips. All clips release with pressure. 8.1) Lift back edge of control panel up to release clips. 9.1) Pull control panel back to release front clips. 10.1) Release trigger on first connector to disconnect from control panel. 11.1) Release trigger on second connector to disconnect from control panel. Set control panel to side. 12.1) From control panel cavity, remove rear screw. 13.1) From control panel cavity, remove front screw. 14.1) At top of hand hold, gently pry upper trim panel from handle releasing clips. 15.1) Work your way across upper trim panel around door open handle releasing clips. 16.1) Gently pry from inside door open cavity to release lower portion of trim panel. 17.1) Remove trim panel and set to side. 18.1) Remove one exposed screw at top of hand hold in cavity. 19.1) Gently pry back bottom edge of door panel from door releasing clips. 20.1) Work your way across bottom of panel releasing clips. 21.1) Work your way up front edge of door panel releasing clips. 22.1) Work your way up rear edge of door panel releasing clips. 23.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel away from door and lift back edge of door panel up out of window jam followed by front edge of door panel. 24.1) Pull top edge of door panel back away from door for access. 25.1) With window down and from opposite side of door, locate door lock and door handle cables. 26.1) Pull lower cable at light gray section from lock to release cable. 27.1) Turn cable to release end from "Key" and lift up from mechanism. (Lower cable has small ball on end) 28.1) At upper cable, pull  cable at light gray section from lock to release cable. 29.1) Turn cable to release end from "Key" and lift up from mechanism. (Upper cable has small letter "L" shape on end) 30.1) Pull upper edge of door panel down for access to connector at courtesy light. Release trigger on connector to disconnect. Remove door panel and set to side. 31.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips. 32.1) Pry door panel clips from door to release. 33.1) Place clips into slots on door panel ready for reinstallation. 34.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door and remove. Nissan Murano How to Remove Rear Door Panel Speaker 1.1) ROLL WINDOW DOWN! 1.2) With small flat head screw driver, gently pry small round cover from hand hold on arm rest. 2.1) Remove cover and set to side. 3.1) Remove exposed screw from hand hold cavity. 4.1) With small flat head screw driver, gently pry cover at notch in door open handle cavity. 5.1) Remove cover and set to side. 6.1) Remove exposed screw from door open handle cavity. 7.1) At top of hand hold, gently pry upper trim panel from handle releasing clips. All clips release with pressure. 8.1) Work your way across upper trim panel around door open handle releasing clips. 9.1) Work your way along bottom of trim panel releasing clips. 10.1) Remove trim panel and set to side. 11.1) Remove one exposed screw at top of hand hold in cavity. 12.1) Gently pry control panel from arm rest releasing clips. 13.1) Lift back edge of control panel up to release clips. 14.1) Pull control panel back to release front clips. 15.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect from control panel. 16.1) Remove control panel and set to side. 17.1) From control panel cavity, remove screw. 18.1) Gently pry back bottom edge of door panel from door releasing clips. 19.1) Work your way across bottom of panel releasing clips. 20.1) Work your way up front edge of door panel releasing clips. 21.1) Work your way up rear edge of door panel releasing clips. 22.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel away from door and lift back edge of door panel up out of window jam followed by front edge of door panel. 23.1) Pull top edge of door panel back away from door for access. 24.1) With window down and from opposite side of door, locate door lock and door handle cables. 25.1) At upper cable, pull  cable at light gray section from lock to release cable. 26.1) Turn cable to release end from "Key" and lift up from mechanism. (Upper cable has small letter "L" shape on end) 27.1) Locate lower cable. 28.1) Pull lower cable at light gray section from lock to release cable. 29.1) Turn cable to release end from "Key" and lift up from mechanism. (Lower cable has small ball on end) 30.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips. 31.1) Pry door panel clips from door to release. 32.1) Place clips into slots on door panel ready for reinstallation. 33.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect at side of speaker. 34.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door and remove.
