Toyota Camry Front Speaker Removal and Installation

Replacing, Removing and Installing Speakers 1.1) Remove two panel pins along back edge of door panel.
Speaker Removal, Replacement and Install 2.1) Remove two screw covers along front edge of door panel and remove exposed screws.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Speakers 3.1) Remove screw/screws along bottom edge of door panel.
Speaker Removal, Replacement and Install 4.1) Inside side pocket, remove screw cover and remove exposed screw.
4.2) Remove screw from under arm rest. In some cases there is not a screw in this position.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Speakers 5.1) Gently pry triangular panel from top of door panel starting at top edge of panel.
Speaker Removal, Replacement and Install 6.1) Gently pry control panel up, disconnect connector.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Speakers 7.1) Gently pry at top edge of insert around door lock/open controls up to release latch.
Speaker Removal, Replacement and Install 8.1) Gently pry at bottom edge of insert around door lock/open controls up to release latch.
8.2) Hold door open handle out to release insert from door panel.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Speakers 9.1) Gently pry tweeter speaker cover from door panel, remove exposed screw.
Speaker Removal, Replacement and Install 10.1) Remove door panel from door by starting at bottom of panel and work up both sides.
10.2) Lift door panel up out of window sill.
10.3) Disconnect connectors.

11.2) Pull speaker from door panel and disconnect.

Toyota Camry Rear Speaker Removal and Installation

Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 1.1) Lift front edge of rear seat up, release back edge of seat and remove seat.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 2.1) Remove on bolt at base of rear seat on drivers side.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 3.1) Remove on bolt at base of rear seat on passenger side.
3.2) Lift rear seat back up off of hooks and remove.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 4.1) Remove third/center brake light cover.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 5.1) Remove screws securing rear brake light to deck.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 6.1) Disconnect connector and remove.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 7.1) Remove plastic clips.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 8.1) Pull pass thru seal from opening.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 9.1) Pull top edge of side panel from back of car and remove, repeat for other side.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 10.1) Remove two screw covers and remove exposed screws.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 11.1) Pull front edge of rear deck panel forward over hooks.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 12.1) Place hand inside rear brake light opening and lift up gently to clear mount while pulling entire panel toward front of car and remove.
Speaker Replacement, Removal and Install 13.1) Remove screws securing speakers.

*NOTE - These are 6 3/4" speakers, we have seen a nice Pioneer speaker that fits or you may have to purchase an adaptor ring and install a 6 1/2" speaker.

Amplifier located under passenger seat.

   
Removing, Installing and Replacing Factory Amplifier 1.1) Push passenger seat to full back position.
1.2) Below front edge of passenger seat, disconnect two connectors at amplifier.
   
Toyota Amplifier Repair, Removal and Replacement 2.1) Push passenger seat to full forward position and seat back forward for better access..
2.2) Remove two mounting screws securing amplifier to floor..
   
Removing Factory Toyota Amplifier 3.1) Pull car stereo amplifier from locking mount toward rear seat.

*NOTE - In most cases, this amplifier is reasonably priced from the Toyota dealership.
