Cadillac CTS Remove and Replace Rear Door Speaker Cadillac CTS Removing and Replacing Rear Door Speaker See front speaker removal video for help. 1.1) Push door lock up to unlock door. 1.2) Place small flat head screw driver at top edge of small panel on door lock. 1.3) Gently pry top edge of panel away from door lock securing tab. 2.1) Remove door lock. 3.1) At door pull handle, pry top edge of insert panel, then bottom edge of insert panel. 4.1) Work insert panel out from top to bottom. 5.1) Remove insert panel and set to side. 6.1) Remove first mounting screw from cavity. 7.1) Remove second mounting screw from cavity. 8.1) Pry bottom front edge of door handle trim panel releasing clips. All clips release with pressure. 9.1) Pry along bottom edge of panel releasing clips. 10.1) Pry around panel, at top of panel, clips may be released with screw driver. 11.1) Remove door handle panel over door handle to remove. Set panel to side. 12.1) Pry back bottom edge of door panel from door releasing clips. 13.1) Work along bottom of door panel to front releasing clips. 13.2) Work up front and back edges of door panel releasing clips. 14.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel from door, this will verify all clips being released and inside connector at center of door panel being released. 15.1) Lift door panel up out of window jam to release and remove. 16.1) On door panel, lift edge of insulation for access to speaker connector. 17.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect and remove. 18.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door panel. 19.1) Locate connector on door panel before reinstalling door panel. 20.1) Locate connector on door before reinstalling door panel. 20.2) When reinstalling door panel, look through door handle opening to align connectors before pushing door panel back onto door. 21.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips. 22.1) Pry remaining door panel clips from door. 23.1) Slide clips back into openings on door panel ready for reinstallation. 24.1) Align door lock linkage to opening. 25.1) Slide door lock onto linkage with door in unlock position. 26.1) Slide door lock down into position. 27.1) Push tab in to door lock into place.
Cadillac CTS How To Remove and Replace Dash Tweeter Cadillac CTS Removing and Replacing Center Dash Tweeter 1.1) Place pry tool at edge on right side of front dash panel. 2.1) Pry edge of front dash panel up to release clips. 3.1) Work along edge of front dash panel releasing clips. 4.1) Work along edge of front dash panel releasing clips. 5.1) Work along edge of front dash panel to end releasing clips. 6.1) Lift back edge of front dash panel up to release front locks. 7.1) Pull panel back from front windshield, remove and set to side. 8.1) Remove screws securing front tweeter, remove and disconnect.
Cadillac CTS How To Remove Side Pillar Tweeter Cadillac CTS How To Remove Side Pillar Tweeter 1.1) Pry Air Bag logo from side pillar. 2.1) Remove Air Bag logo and set to side. 3.1) Locate Phillips screw exposed in cavity. 4.1) Remove screw. 5.1) Pull top edge of side pillar panel from vehicle. 6.1) Lift bottom of side pillar panel up to release from dash. 7.1) Release wire bundle from clip on back side of side pillar panel. 8.1) Squeeze trigger on connector at tweeter to release and disconnect. 8.2) Remove side pillar panel. 9.1) Pry tweeter from side pillar panel at tabs. 10.1) Remove side pillar tweeter from panel. 11.1) During installation of side pillar panel, feed door weather stripping of edge of panel.
Cadillac CTS How To Remove and Replace Bose Amplifier Cadillac CTS Removing and Replacing Bose Amplifier 1.1) Open trunk, remove lock down screw for access to spare tire. 2.1) Remove cover for spare tire. 3.1) Rear edge of car, driver's side, along floor, unscrew lock down tab and remove. 4.1) Rear edge of car, driver's side, along edge of trunk opening, unscrew lock down tab and remove. 5.1) Rear edge of car, passenger's side, along edge of trunk opening, unscrew lock down tab and remove. 6.1) Rear edge of car, passenger's side, along floor, unscrew lock down tab and remove. 7.1) Lift panel up to release over screw. 8.1) Pull panel from vehicle releasing over screw. 8.2) Repeat for opposite side of car. 9.1) Lift pane up to release all clips. Clips release with pry pressure. 10.1) Remove panel and set to side. 11.1) Driver's side, along side wall, unscrew lock down tab. 12.1) Pull edge of side panel away from car. 13.1) Remove one nut securing Bose amplifier. 14.1) Remove second nut securing Bose amplifier. 15.1) Remove third nut securing Bose amplifier. 16.1) Remove Bose amplifier from mount. 17.1) Release trigger on first connector to remove and disconnect. 18.1) Release trigger on second connector to remove and disconnect. 19.1) Release trigger on final connector to remove and disconnect. Remove Bose amplifier.
