Front Side Pillar Tweeter How to Remove and Replace

Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 1.1) Pry top edge of side trim panel from pillar releasing clip. All clips release with pry pressure.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 2.1) Pry down along edge of side trim panel.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 3.1) Lift bottom of side panel up, two tabs release from lower dash panel.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 4.1) Looking through front windshield down toward front dash panel, see two opening. Bottom tabs on side trim panel mate to these openings.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 5.1) Looking through front windshield down toward front dash panel, pull tweeter wire up from dash for access to connector.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 6.1) Squeeze trigger on side of connector into connector to release.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 7.1) Remove side trim panel.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 8.1) With small flat head screw driver, gently pry clips from tabs on side of tweeter assembly.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 9.1) Pry all clips around tweeter assembly releasing all tabs.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 10.1) Pry all clips around tweeter assembly releasing all tabs.

Rear Speaker Removal and Installation

Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 1.1) Remove one screw from cup holder cavity.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 2.1) Remove one screw from door hold cavity.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 3.1) Gently pry top edge of insert panel around door open handle.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 4.1) Twist insert panel over door open handle to remove and set to side.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 5.1) Starting at top of door panel, gently pry panel from door releasing clips.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 6.1) Work your way around entire panel releasing clips.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 7.1) Remove entire door panel and set to side.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 8.1) Push side clip in to release clip on speaker.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 9.1) Swing speaker out from door panel and remove speaker.
Chevrolet Corvette Bose Stereo Repair and Removal 10.1) Release trigger at connector on speaker to disconnect.

We discourage cutting the factory wire harness.

IMPORTANT - There are two (2) yellow*, two (2) gray and two (2) brown wires in this harness. Locate the +12 volt constant wire first. Label it or splice to constant wire on aftermarket stereo first. Swapping yellow wires will cause damage to any aftermarket stereo. Check fuses if your unable to find +12 volts.
