Car Stereo Removal and Replacement

Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 1.1) Remove two screws along top of dash panel above gauges.
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 2.1) Along panel below steering column to right, gently pry small plastic panel from main panel.
2.2) Remove exposed screw.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 3.1) Along panel below steering column to left, gently pry small plastic panel from main panel.
3.2) Remove exposed screw.
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 4.1) Remove two screws along bottom edge of center panel below steering column.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 5.1) Remove one screw in hood release handle cavity area.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 6.1) Remove nut on hood release handle and cable.
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 7.1) Pull hood release handle and cable forward from panel and allow to flop toward floor.
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 8.1) Remove one screw on side panel.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 9.1) Pull side panel down slightly. (The previous four steps were allow for a little more access for the following step.)
9.2) Remove one awkward screw while holding side panel away from dash. (I don't know why they put this screw here?)
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 10.1) Remove one screw in dash panel just above car stereo.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 11.1) Find one screw in bottom of steering column shroud.
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 12.1) Remove screw from bottom of steering column shroud.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 13.1) Remove top half of steering column shroud.
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 14.1) Pull steering column shroud away from ignition switch and remove panel.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 15.1) Pull left side of dash trim panel away from dash, release trigger on connector and disconnect.
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 16.1) Pull right side of dash trim panel from dash, release triggers on all connectors and disconnect.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 17.1) Pull panel forward, with more play in panel as connectors are disconnected, this will give better access for releasing remaining connectors from front dash panel.
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 18.1) Lift front dash panel up over steering wheel and remove.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 19.1) Remove two screws on each side of car stereo and pocket securing car stereo to dash.
Kia Sportage Stereo Replacement, Removal and Install 20.1) Pull car stereo forward from dash.
Replacing, Removing and Installing Car Stereo 21.1) Disconnect antenna and release trigger on main connector to remove.
