Lexus LX470 How to Remove and Install Factory Car Stereo 1.1) With small flat head screw driver, release two tabs inside pocket at the top. 1.2) Release pocket and remove. 2.1) Remove two exposed screws from pocket cavity. 3.1) Remove ash tray. 3.2) Remove two screws from ash tray cavity. 4.1) Release front dash trim panel forward. (This panel has many connectors, we work around this panel rather than remove. Although, we do remove two connectors for more play in panel for access to car stereo.) 5.1) Remove four screws securing car stereo to dash. 6.1) Remove car stereo from dash. 7.1) Remove antenna and release trigger on connectors to disconnect.
