How to Remove Car Stereo Instructions

Common Stereo Problem
"Din Tools"
Din Tools can be purchased at a local Auto
Parts Store. They are Ford Car Stereo removal tools.
1) Insert "Din tools" into holes on both sides of
radio.
2) Push tools slightly to the outside of the car stereo, this releases the lock mechanism,
pushing them to the side of the car stereo.
3) Pull car stereo forward from dash.
4) Remove antenna and connectors.

How to Remove and Install Speakers
1.1) Remove two screws from hand
hold cavity.
1.2) Release clips on panel insert and remove from door panel. All clips
release with pressure.
1.3) Release and twist to side, window crank cover.
1.4) Remove exposed screw, remove window crank.
2.1) Remove one exposed screw
from panel insert removal.
2.2) Grasp arm reset and lift entire door panel straight up releasing all
hooks on door panel from door. Remove panel and set to side.
3.1) Remove screws securing
speaker to door.
3.2) Remove speaker, release trigger on connector to disconnect.
