Spyder and Eclipse Removing and Installing Car Stereo

Mitsubishi Eclipse Radio Replacement, Removal and Install 1.1) Remove two screws at bottom of trim plate.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Radio and Amplifier - Replacement and Installation 2.1) Pull panel forward releasing two clips, disconnect emergency flasher connector.
2.2) Disconnect emergency flasher connector and set panel  to side.
NOTE* You may need to look for the two clips, they may still be stuck in slot in dash.
Mitsubishi 3000gt Infinity Car Stereo Replacement and Removal 3.1) Remove four screws exposed form panel removal securing car stereo to dash.
3.2) Disconnect antenna and connectors.
   
Spyder and Eclipse Dash Tweeter Remove and Replace
Mitsubishi Spyder Car Audio Replacement and Removal 1.1) For access to tweeter, see steps 1 and 2 above.
   
Mitsubishi Spyder Radio Replacement and Removal 2.1) Pull  top panel forward releasing two clips.
   
Mitsubishi Tweeter Replacement and Installation 3.1) Gently pry center tweeter from dash.
3.2) At connector squeeze trigger, release and remove.
3.3) Original speaker fits be$t. Aftermarket tweeter requires modifications.

Mitsubishi Spyder / Eclipse Removing and Installing Rear Speakers

How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 1.1) Pull two rings, one on each side of seat forward releasing rear seat latches.
How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 2.1) Lift bottom rear seat cushion up.
2.2) Feed seatbelts through openings in seat and remove rear seat cushion.
How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 3.1) Release seat back and pull forward for access to two screws along side of panel.
How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 4.1) From under speaker, along bottom edge of side panel, remove one screw.
How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 5.1) From back hatch area, gently lift small rectangular panel.
5.2) Remove exposed screw.
How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 6.1) Gently pull front edge of door panel away from side of car releasing clips.
6.2) Pull side panel forward, be careful to watch rear back edge of panel clears.

Installing Speakers, Remove and Replace 1.1) Remove one screw from door open handle cavity.
Mitsubishi Speaker Installation, Remove and Replace 2.1) Pull trim ring forward to release back of trim ring panel.
Installing Speakers, Remove and Replace 3.1) Remove trim ring from door open handle cavity over handle.
Mitsubishi Speaker Installation, Remove and Replace 4.1) Remove one screw at top front leading edge of door panel.
Installing Speakers, Remove and Replace 5.1) Gently pry top cover panel from door pull handle.
Mitsubishi Speaker Installation, Remove and Replace 6.1) Gently pry bottom cover panel from door pull handle.
Installing Speakers, Remove and Replace 7.1) Remove exposed 10mm bolt at top of door pull handle.
Mitsubishi Speaker Installation, Remove and Replace 8.1) Remove exposed 10mm bolt at bottom of door pull handle.
Installing Speakers, Remove and Replace 9.1) Remove one screw at back top of door panel.
Mitsubishi Speaker Installation, Remove and Replace 10.1) Gently pry bottom edge of door panel from door.
10.2) Work your way up front and back of door panel releasing all clips.
Installing Speakers, Remove and Replace 11.1) Lift door panel up out of window jam.
Mitsubishi Speaker Installation, Remove and Replace 12.1) Reach behind door panel, release trigger on connector at control panel to disconnect.
12.2) Remove door panel and set to side.
Installing Speakers, Remove and Replace 13.1) Gently pull top edge of small panel from door.
Mitsubishi Speaker Installation, Remove and Replace 14.1) Hinge panel down to release all clips and remove panel for access to tweeter.
Installing Speakers, Remove and Replace 15.1) Remove four screws securing speaker to door to remove.
